Fiddlersgreen models are a lot of fun, but i would like to see more. I would like to see some papermodel ships, perhaps some sailing ships, or battleships, or even aircraft acrriers. who knows maybe a whole like of paper ships for battles like Jutland, Midway, or trafalgar! what do you think of the idea, fellow model buffs?

Ships would be way too complicated for the FG style.

But not 3D diorama pieces that build as sections for displaying WSAM planes. That's doable. I bit of GSE, a section of desk and rails, and display it all attached to a piece of foam board.

Then there would be the impulse to glue them all together...

That'd work. I used to have a WWII A/C carrier island in plans, and a battleship turret for the kingfisher. Both got lost in a harddrive crash

Anything "FG Worthy" should be sent in to Chip.

I made one of the "ripply"??? ships that was on my first F.G. disc. it was a viking ship I think. I did a lot off extra work on it but looked o.k. I make my grandson ray guns and helmets off of the space page. he likes them a lot.

I think you mean Wallis Rigby. Creator of Die-Cut Paper Models. Very interesting and creative man. You can find a lot on him on the net. I have a few of his old books of models. But then I am old too lol. Any thing to do with sifi, rockets, aircraft, guns or ships I try to keep up on. On my work bench there is a 1888 German commission rifle being restored. A Estes starship Vega flying model rocket being cloned. Redoing a model of the USS Enterprise CVAN 65. And my 8 grand kids are telling me to make more FG planes as I type this. Oh the joys of getting old lol. Now where are my glasses?
