I'm trying to print N scale aircraft models for my RR layout on regular printer paper. Considering the "oops factor" involved with this scale, how do you print the same PDF multiple times on the same sheet of paper? Or can't you?

Thanks,
Dan

Dan,

It's been a while since I've done this but IIRC, I set up a page size for half an 8.5 x 11 inch sheet (5.5 x 8.5) and then checked the "Landscape" box. Printed one copy then turned the sheet 180 degrees and repeated. That would give me two copies on one sheet of card.

I was not trying to get to a specific scale so you may have to dig within your printer's settings. Hit the "Properties" button from Acrobat's "Print" dialog box to see if you can set a "Custom" page size.

Y-town eh? We're in the same neck 'o the woods. :)

Definitely check your printer properties - my Lexmark 5200 can be set to print more than one page on one sheet of paper.

Thanks guys!

FelixR,

 I was thinking backwards : trying to do it from inside Acrobat instead of from the printer properties. Thanks, I'll try it. Last resort, read the manual!!

Chauncy,

I've done that already (run it through twice) on a black and white laser printer, and it worked fine, but I'm afraid of what would happen to the ink on the previous copies with my color inkjet. I think I can get ~9 N scale planes on 1 sheet of paper. I'm not that cheap, well ok, maybe I am.

A "Custom" page size is how I made the b&w copies. Worked fine.

How far from the line are you? I work in New Castle. Lived in Harrisburg for 6 years, which is why I live in OH and work in PA now.
