This is the famous DC-3, Skytrain, or C-47 -thousands made in the 1930s and 100s are still flying. Redrawn March 07 with the help of Rob Carleen who also created the RD4-5L Navy version that landed at the South Pole in October 1956. It stayed only 45 minutes and scampered back to safety.
