True story:
I was in my basement on Saturday, not doing much, when I heard an odd sound coming from my models shelf. A kind of stratching, tapping sound. By putting my ear close up to my indidviual models, I determined that the sound was coming from the *Inside* of my Ju-52! I could only assume some kind of bug had gotten inside. Shuddering a little, I took it outside and tried turning it over and shaking it, but nothing happened (this is the Russian winter camo version, with a hole in the roof for a gunner).
After standing there, thinking hard, I came up with a solution. I took the old '52 back downstairs and carefully placed it In the Freezer. After 2 hours, I took it out and went back out onto my porch. After a couple of minutes of shaking out popped one big, frozen, dead beetle.
How it got there I'll never know.
So, if the rest of you have any bug problems, just build yourself a Ju-52!
