1. That's not dandruff, it's little paper triangles.

2. Sniff glue? I'd rather use it to make more models.

3. When you look at anything, the first thing that pops into your head is: "Hmmm, a cube here, a few cones there, a couple of rings and voila! a model." (Guilty)

4. I can stop anytime I want, right after I finish this next model.

5. Plastic is for accessories.

6. The cat/kid has been banned from your workshop.

7. You have been banned from the rest of the house.

8. You have a book of all Fiddlersgreen instructions printed, and a travel case with supplies and printed models "because you never know when an opportunity will pop up".(Guilty)

9 Your kids know you as the "Paper Model Man/Woman" instead of "Daddy/Mommy".(We are an equal opportunity addiction)

10. You have to be sent away from your room for punishment (For the younger addicts)

Two more:

1) You have several uncompleted models lying around yet you're keen to start another

2) You spend hours surfing the web/newspapers looking for the cheapest bulk supplier of card.

I am truly an addict, now where's that can of clear lacquer?

Niki

No comment on how the below came to be personal knowledge...

1. You can quote seven different store prices for ink, card stock and glue, know when the sale dates are, and have a strong preference for one brand over another.

2. You eyeball every pair of scissors you see and test-cut paper with them when you think no one is looking.

3. You have a collection of empty ball-point pens for scoring tools, and get spun up into a vicious rage when someone in the house throws them away.

4. You've ever sat down with some scrap card and a Bic pen (to empty it) to make a new scoring tool during an episode of "Wings" or "Dogfights!"

5. You TiVO "Wings" or "Dogfights!" for model or repaint ideas.

6. You buy fishing line, and you don't fish.

7. You were more excited by a 24-pack of Sharpies as a Christmas present than you were of a Tuskeegee Airmen T-shirt (and I LOVE the shirt!).

8. You went to the National Museum of the Air Force and only took pictures of aircraft safety markings and insignia. For repaints. 1.2GB worth.

9. You laugh when you see the prices on plastic kits and airbrush supplies.

10. You burn backup DVDs of everything you downloaded every year out of paranoia, and you put them in your fire safe (Edward, what the *$&#! is THIS doing in here?!?!).

As I mentioned before, I cannot recall where the above came to mind...

And a few more:

1.) "Toolbox" consists of scissors, exacto knife, glue, sharpies, empty
ballpoint pens for scoring and ruler.

2.) Inkjet printer is most prized possession.

3.) Has large collection of card stock from various manufacturers organized
by color and weight.

4.) When emptying vaccuum cleaner, discovers most of the "dirt" is small
paper scraps.

5.) 95% of favorites are links to airplane and card modeling websites.

Nope. If you have nothing better to do than sit around and think of the characterizations and attributions of cardmodellers, you probably aren't a true cardmodel addict.

There is nothing better to do than building a model.

Hey, wait a minute.....

I'm waiting for the glue to dry... Yeah, that's it.
