From the news it looks like the North Pole came down on the East Coast. Where I am on the West Coast it's all rain. I'm not complaining, yet. We have a small break between storms here. Next batch of storms due to hit towards the end of this week(1/29/2016). Lots of rain up and down the whole West Coast bring flooding and mud slides. I'm one of those crazy Californian's who lives on the side of a hill in a Earth Quack Zone. So far the house is steady. How is every one else handling the storms where ever you live. I hope everyone is well and most of all, safe. wc

Everything is fine up here in the "State of Jefferson". Rain has been coming intermittently with only one really fierce storm (localized just south of Red Bluff). But I tell you what, the mountains are beautiful from here and I see more snow on the surrounding hills than ever have before.

In SW Pennsylvania we got between 1 - 2 ft. depending upon elevation. Checking in with the rest of the family further east, they got quite a bit more -- waist deep in some places.

Nothing to report here in the middle of Canada, except the usual. Snow and temperatures that range from -1C to -30C with windchill factored in, but no snowstorms or blizzards yet this winter.

Nothing happening here now a day before Super Bowl which will be played about 45 miles s/w of me. I have never like or enjoyed Peyton Manning but as he is retiring or so he says, I'm going for him. It's the way to retired and I hope never to hear or see again or his half wit brother. Right now it is 65f with a 3 mph wind from the S/E it feels like 64. That's about all I got. wc
