Sounds good, but the problem is: If we give spammers a spesific forum, how do we make sure that they stick to it?

If possible, leave that "spam" forum as the only forum where guests can post, keep all other forums open only to registered members. |

Howzit Yeah a forum for guests only would be useful but it would alienate some legitimate users, besides not all spammers are guests, a lot are registered, how are you (we) going to stop that? Niki |

Establish some rules like other forums employ. 1. Any posting not related to card model building will be deleted. 2. Any member posting inappropriate material will be deleted from the membership list and the posting will be removed immediately. 3. Any person using a name like "Hot Nudes", "Cheap Viagra", etc. will not be added to the members list. 4. ENFORCE THE RULES! Check Card Models home page and forums and you will notice the there is no spam to be found or complained about. Many of you are aware of that since you post entries there as well as at FG. Rick, et al., spam is not going to disappear unless you people in charge do something about it. The complaining about spam has been going on for months now. What do the always-online administrators do? It sure as heck isn't cleaning the trash out of the Forums. Quit bragging about a new model every Friday and brag about a forum site that is free from ads for illegal prescription drugs and online porn sites. Bob |

I fully agree Jim. Us, the (legitimate) members should be allowed to take matters into our own hands, we're responsible enough to deal with this problem. As I've said before I'm on the net on a daily basis (one of the perks or lowpoints of university life), give me admin privileges, I'll sort spam out no problem. Niki |

Yeah possm has been awesome. P.O.P. (possum's on patrol). Sorry I couldn't resist. Great thing about Felix and Possm doing the job is now FG can bring us awesome models without having to worry about forum spam. Awesome job guys.
