I don't know if anyone noticed that I messed up. Look at the first picture and at the oil cooler cowling? It's the part back of the cockpit. I didn't narrow the cockpit enough, and it didn't go back as far as it should. I had to add a section to the cowling to make it cover the placement lines. The only way you can tell is because the filler strip is a brighter color of white.

Looks good to me, too. I didn't notice any mistake.

Niki,
That should be pretty cool to see. I love it when there are a lot of versions of models. Are you sending it to Chip?

Sent Chip two S-55 repaints already, SAAF and US Coast Guard (red) versions. Got a third due this weekend, Israeli S-55 camo plus two more repaints, F-15I Ra'am and an Indian AF Mig-21.

Another cool version. We could create entire fleets of S-55s!

Now that I think about that, the wife wouldn't be too thrilled. she's already made me take about half of my collection to my classroom at school.

Israeli camo version due to tomorrow, I just have to match up the camo between the tail and the driveshaft spine.

Already started it, bit of a toughie though, so I put it aside for now. The S-55 is a nice bird for repaints. I want to do a RN rescue version and a USMC version as well. Alas, too many repaints, too little time.

I know how that goes. I have been trying to finish a repaint for about a month. Darn those full time jobs.[/quote]

Too little time, even worse now. My degree's final exam schedule changed so now I'm pressed for time. No more repaints or builds until after the 15th November. Beyond that Felix and I are starting the "Canberra Project", hopefully we can get an FG-standard model out before year's end.

Oh well back to the studying. Enjoy the upcoming models, there are some nice ones on the way from FG.
