I've had this Junkers D.I very nearly complete (just missing the prop) for at least the last three months i.e. before the baby was born, but haven't been able to find the time to finish it off. I think I actually started it in the summer some time! But now, at long last, it's finally done :D. Hope you like:-

What with everything going on at home the last few months I haven't had time to do any modelling at all, but now that things have calmed down a little bit I'm going to take willy's advice and try to do whatever I can in the few moments of spare time I manage to get from now on. I certainly feel as though that's what I need!

A very very nice job! On a very ugly airplane..My opinion anyway.
Nice detail. :D What did you use for the head rest? Roll bar? Hard to make out the wheels. Stock? I really like the spinner. 8) I usually just stick a pin through the center. Nice with the hub in the center

Thanks Bob. Yeah, it's not the most attractive aircraft ever is it?!. The headrest/roll bar is just a piece of soft wire carefully bent to shape and painted flat black. The wheels are made up from layers of thicker card and sanded smooth. Glad you like the prop and hub - well spotted :D. I thought it would look odd with the prop disk either at the front or back of a normal hub so decided to build it up with two thinner versions and sandwich the disk in the middle instead. I think it turned out quite well.

Nice plane CD. I knew that advice would come in handy for you sometime. I find that Nap time is a great way to get some things done. Either that or stay up way too late a few nights.

I just finished this today. It's one of those secret Nazi Luft '46 projects, in this case the 'Amerika Bomber' designed by Dr Eugen Sänger - more information here http://www.luft46.com/misc/sanger.html

This particular model was designed by Joseph Golden, and downloaded from his website here http://www.tinpaper.net/. It's a very simple model, which is good really as that's about all I can seem to manage these days . However it's a fairly unusual subject, and the end result is quite pleasing. Hope you like:-

Nice Chris, Don't have to be complicated to be cool. 8)
It was either History International or Military Channel last week had a very interesting special program on the German rocket development during WWII. Great program and showed many proposed projects.

Isn't that the Sanger Amerika Bomber? It was supposed to go to the edge of space and then fly back. Only some major flaws in the design to hold it back
It looks great Chris.

I've wanted to build the Silbervogel in diorama with it's launch rail for some time. I'm glad they didn't get that thing off the ground.

And now, as Monty Python might say, for something completely different! I found these over at the Canon site and thought I'd give them a try. I've been building them over the last couple of weeks or so, but haven't been able to take any photos of them until now. They're quite impressive I think, especially considering there are only half dozen or so parts to each one:-

I have the Peregrine Falcon already printed too, but don't know when I'll be able to start on that. Up next I hope to do something FG :D.
