This is the second and final of the WWII Veteran Series. :D We're currently working on more tributes to Veterans. The L-4 Grasshopper was used in the European Theater during WWII. Mechanically identical to the J-3, the military version were equiped with large plexiglass windows over the top of the wings and behind the rear seat passenger, and the side windows were enlarged. 8)

Another late arrival to the war, the P-51 Mustang, and provided long range bomber escort. Many bombing raids was designed to destroy the manufacturing plants for aircraft manufacture and also to draw he German Fighter Planes up so the P-51s could engage them. It was vital to destroy as many of the German Fighter Planes as possible before D-Day which would have been devistating to our troops landing on the beaches.

The final model to honor our WWII Veterans. Gary and I are still working on more veteran models.

Finally a Tribute to our Veterans of the "Global War on Terror." The "F-117 NIGHTHAWK." Unless I'm mistaken this is the first time our Stealth Aircraft was used in a combat situration. I suppose most of us remember the CNN live videos from Bagdad as the tracers light up the night sky there in the first Gulf War. A very easy build. Not counting the landing gears, there are only 6 parts. Gary and I are still working on other models to honor our Veterans... Stay tuned!!

Hey Tim, Sorry about that. My photo album was overflowing and I had to empty a bunch of photos. If you like I could e-mail you those pictures. I just exceeded my allotment of space for photos. :(
