So, here is a link to the beta builds of John Glessner's Mig-21. I posted the link here rather than repost and repeat everything in the papermodel
thread.

It's gonna be fun!

Go Ray Go!

It's nice to see someone with a passion for something get right down to it and have a ball. I look forward to seeing all the different markings and paintjobs.

Awesome! Was the cockpit completely scratch built, or bashed from another kit?

Yes, both. Got some from a GPM/CFM Verlag kit.

Some of ya'll might have seen this over at PM already, but I thought I would
post it here as well, since some are FG Mig-21's, and most are John Glessner
versions (after all, he designed it!).

Well, where to start. On 16 May, I sent a message to John Glessner (who had done all of the design
and paint work for most of these Mig-21's), that I was going to attempt to finish up by 12 July.

I made it.

18 Mig-21 models in just under 2 months. I wish now I had photographically documented this, as it was
quite a site to see 18 nose wheels, 36 main wheels, and 18 different aircraft worth of parts
being assembled at once. It was truly a factory line in progress!

So, in the year of this thread, there have been 25 Mig-21's built at the factory.

And, there are still a couple out there to be built, one of which will be the epilogue of this fun little saga.

All of the completed versions are over at PM in the original thread. Check'em out if ya want to.
Here is just the family pic of all the Mig-21's together. I think 22 of them are John Glessners design, a couple are
the Guido repaints, one is the original FG Mig, and then there are some others that I built as well.
