Thanks Chris. I realize that the seats aren't totally accurate, but I didn't want them to cover the windows and block the view of the inside.

I got the other seat done yesterday. I'm kinda stalled while I think out the cockpit thing. Lots of ideas, just need to wrangle then together some how

I don't know what's so fantastic about that, but whatever. So, I didn't get the computer work done, but I did make some progress last night and this morning on the pilot/copilot seats. I made on of the seats in the up position, so that you can see down the access ladder. Don't know how much will actually be seen when all is said and done, but I'll know it's there.

Also started scratching the center console. I hope to scan the parts in today and start laying out some knobs and things.

Look Mom, I'm lazy!!!!!!! Wow, I didn't realize how badly I've neglected the poor helo. I've had the parts sitting in a box on my counter since March. I did do a bit of modeling since the last post. I'm ironing out the kinks in a beta build of a rocket for a fellow on another forum. Man, I really need to hit this thing tonight! My summer job has begun though, so we'll see how much I get done. Time to sweet talk the wifey :D

Just noticed it looks like you colored the seats with a crayon. Not the right color, it seems, from your own comments, but I hafta say it gives them an excellent texturing effect, so great choice in selection of coloring agent. It's amazing what kinds of subtleties can be involved in achieving authentic detail that a casual observer would never appreciate. Nicely done!

Yeah, I thought about that when I did them. I'd seen some photos at the museum of the H-19 we have with red jump seats when it was in service. I've also seen other H-19s with olive drab. It's any one's guess really. But, like you said Mark, the texture looks kinda cool. I used my Prismacolor water color pencils on them. Looks neato to me :D

Looks great, guy. I know all about th' "lazys". Seems I've been working on this Yak dio forever. An' the Yak's not pleasing me. This is my busy time; the only time I'm inside is when it's too hot or too wet.

Head way has been made. Not on the building portion, but the designing portion. I redid the file in Photoshop to fix the sloppy graphics and incorrect font that I did during the initial repaint. I also fixed/removed the lines for the oil cooler cowling that goes behind the upper fuselage area. Everytime I built it, I had to add it a splice to mae the cowling reach the lines that were printed. So, I got rid of 'em!

I've also done up a bit of interior stuff. I took the main fuselage piece from page 1, and recolored it to a nice olive drab interior with a diamond pattern. The floor is a grey, very similar to the exterior color (I'm still a bit lazy). I also found a picture of the instrument panel, so I'll be working on that to make it fit my model. I still need to scan the patterns for the interior formers so I can texture the rear wall of the cargo space. I also need to scan the tamplate for the center console fo the cockpit. Yikes, I'd best be busy!
