Look up in the sky!!!! It's Superman!!! :roll: No! it's a Plane!! :oops: No! It a Bird!!! :wink: Actually it's a Sea Gull!!!! And it really flyes!!!!!! :mrgreen: A fun easy build.....and it really does fly. :mrgreen: Available now @ FG. Fly me away!!!!! :lol:

That's really cute! I see in the instructions you are supposed to put a wire or cloths hanger in the wings to help keep them from bending. Did you do that?

No, I didn't use the coat hanger in the center section of the wing. Actually the wire is suppose to maintain the upward sweep of the wings. I didn't want the extra weight. I proped up the wings to the desired upward sweep before gluing and then glued the wings and let dry completely before removing the props. :) Seems to work fine and didn't add the additional weight. :roll: I suppose in a really strong wind or a really rough landing could probably cause the wings to fold up. However this one will be displayed more than flown :mrgreen: I'm going to get around to building one a little smaller just for flying.
