Got to tinkering with the FG Hawker Hurricane and made several improvements, some as gnat's eyelash as putting Rotol logos on the propellor blades, others just basic fit and finish. RAF squadron markings always create the temptation to make a word out of them, with the roundel serving as the letter "O", but the way the markings are applied port & starboard makes the word nonsense on the other side of the fuselage (the squadron two letter ID is fwd of the roundel; the airplane ID aft of it - so making the starboard side read "SOAP", for example, S as airplane ID, roundel, and AP squadron ID would read "APOS" on the port side). But with the Scrabble dictionaries on-line, it was easy to get a list of all legal four letter words and find pairs that would work as RAF markings and still be words on BOTH sides of the fuselage. POSH SHOP is one such pair, and fitting for the worklike Hurricane, so this little paper Hawker sports POSH SHOP on its sides.

Built as "Regular" at 1/60 scale.

Very clean build Mark,
Nice lines, and fit.
You are as always a master of your craft.
The Posh Shop sounds like a fancy British store.
A fitting designation for probably the most beautiful
of all the WWII fighters.
Is Chip going to add this version to the Spitfire file for the
Magic keys holders to enjoy, and folks to purchase from him?
Or, do we order one from you directly.
Best Regards,
Gary

Nicely done! I haven't built the Hurricane yet, but I've had my eye on it for a while now. Seeing your model has moved it up in the to-do pile.
