Seriously amazing build. Building that beast in normal size is hard enough but 1/288, amazing stuff! Send the pics to Chip, he would appreciate the effort.

Nice touch with the nose art Lep :D Let's see, what punishment for you now. Hmmm... How about the B-10 or B-29. Those are neat bombers, and I haven't seen too many built on here.

Hmm, I think Chip said the wingspan finally ended up at 6 feet, with a 2.5 foot fuselage, give or take.

So 1/152 would be about 14" wingspan and about 8" long? Hmmm. Let me catch my breath, maybe do something huge (1/72) and think about it.
BTW, I believe you said you never did this one? Howcome, if it doesn't implicate any of my friends.

Dunno why. I tried building it at 1/4 size for a contest over at the CardModels forum, but never finished it. And I've never had the mood to try again.

And as I was designing it, I only built the parts I was working on at the time.

I guess I technically built it, but only in sections.

Yah. Had the same expeience recently with a contest in that forum. Started, stopped because they extended the build time by 3 months and allowed people to put in their own designs, so I gave up fighting it.
I'll probably build the Gigant one fourth scale, or 1/152 sometime soon this summer. If it ever stops raining I've got to get outside and get some primitive living stuff ready for this fall or I'm not going to be ready.
Best,
Tom

No, my other hobby is attending, and sometimes teaching at, primitive living events.
I make stone tools, weapons, wood and gourd and woven mat utensels. About anything you need to get along in the wild without a market or hardware store around.
I've been doing this for a LOOOONG time. Since before I retired from the Army, and that was 21 years ago, even before I started teaching high school.
I cardmodel when it's too cold, wet, hot, or dark to do anything outside.
