T60-Russian-Tank

Thumbnail
The T-60 scout tank was a light tank produced by the Soviet Union from 1941 to 1942. In this time over 6,292 were built. The tank was designed to replace the obsolete T-38 amphibious scout tank. Most notably, a lightened version of the T-60 was used for the famous A40 'Flying Tank' experiments. (see Fiddlersgreen Aircraft Collection)

Tank-Rigby

Wallis Rigby was quite famous for his many types of paper models, from ships and trains to actual rubber-powered flying models. He was a great self promoter and was written up in many publications from the 1930s through the 1950s. This little tank is an example of a 'Modern Model' published in a wartime comic strip as a givaway in 1940. At one time and for a very limited time, we offered the tank at the top of the page as a free sample but have since deleted it as not being a serious model for the collection. Please do not email.
