Beamish Coal Mine
This lives at Beamish Open Air Museum, County Durham, England. The posts are cut down toothpicks. The model shown is in N scale and there is a headstock and 4 coal wagons included in the model that are not shown in the photo. This building is unique because it actually angles back on itself at the center.
Most HO scale models are arranged on two sheets 10.5x7.6 inches in size. This model could be used for a variety of purposes. One would be to light the fireplace, but it would be nicer in your model layout.
